Day 01 - Airport –Pinnawala-Dambulla -Sigiriya
Arrival in Colombo International Airport Welcome and meet with our representative at the arrival lounge, and departure to Pinnawala elephant orphanage.
Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage
Features one of the biggest herds of captive elephants in the world. The Pinnawala herd today numbers nearly 71 and is easily one of the most popular tourist attractions in Sri Lanka. The main attraction at Pinnawala is watching the elephants walking down to the river twice a day to have their bath. Feeding time for baby elephants is also a very popular time at the orphanage.

PM- Visit Dambulla cave temple, which contains more than 150 Statues of the Buddha. This was where a king of the 1st Century B.C. took refuge and latter converted them into a monastery.

Day 02 - Sigiriya –Polonnaruwa-Sigiriya
AM - After breakfast Proceed to Sigiriya, climbing to Sigiriya Kasiyappa lion rock world heritage site.
Sigiriya Rock Fortress
Sigiriya Located a few hours’ drive from Colombo, Sigiriya is a magnificent rock fortress built in the 5th century A.D. This majestic Citadel in the sky was the refuge of King Kasiyappa and is world-renowned for its Mirror Wall’, which consists of poems and paragraphs carved by some of the thousands of visitors who visited the rock many years ago, and for its magnificent frescoes, similar to the Ajanta frescoes of India.

PM- Visit the city of Polonnaruwa - medieval capital & crown jewel of King Parakramabahu I - remains superior proof of ancient culture & heritage blended with religious beliefs. Walk across its scattered walls of the World Heritage Site - blessed by stupas, resting Buddha statues, irrigation canals and fantastically carved Hindu sculptures - while observing the relic house - Watadage - which boasts of beautiful stone carvings. Take a close glance and you will realize a subtle Hindu influence on architecture and statues found in Polonnaruwa. Or sit by the side of Galviharaya and observe the absolute beauty gushing out of every bend of its huge Buddhist statues.

Day 03 - Sigiriya-Village Tour-Anuradhapura-Sigiriya
AM- After breakfast visit Village tour.
You can enjoy a real life style of Sri Lanka village. Village tour focuses on actively participating in a rural lifestyle. It can be a variant of ecotourism. Many villages can facilitate tourism because many villagers are hospitable and eager to welcome visitors. Agriculture is becoming highly mechanized and therefore, requires less manual labor.

After that leave for Anuradhapura. You will enjoy a scenic drive passing small towns green, rural villages and coconut groves to discover the lush green vegetation in land. En-route stopover along the road to taste a king coconut drink, freshly cut pineapple, mangoes and a variety of other tropical fruits.
Anuradhapura is the most extensive of the Sri Lankan ancient cities and a World Heritage site. It was the national capital for over 1300 years up to the 10thCentury AD. During the tour, you will visit an archeological museum, the sacred Bo tree, Brazen Place, Royal Palace, Samadhi Buddha, Kuttam Pokuna and more.

Day 04/05 - Sigiriya -Matale-Kandy
AM - After breakfast Departure to Kandy.
En-route visit Matale Spice Garden, in Matale see different spices for which Sri Lanka is famous for. Here, clients could see different spices and how some of these spices are grown and processed.
On the way visiting Muththu Mari Amman Hindu temple in Matale. (Option)

1st day in Kandy. PM- arriving in hotel.
Visiting temple of tooth. This temple, the most important one for The Sri Lankan Buddhists was built in the 16th Century A.D, solely for the purpose of housing the tooth relic. Observe the magnificent Architecture of that period and experience the tranquility of the atmosphere.

2nd day in Kandy.
AM- After breakfast - Kandy city tour.
Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings, and is a World Heritage Site. The name Kandy conjures visions of splendor and magnificence. Many of the legends, traditions and folklore are still lovingly kept alive. Drive around the Kandy Lake built by the last Sinhala king Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1798. Visit Bazaar and the arts & crafts center. (Lunch open)
After that visit to the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens. This botanical garden was first built as a pleasure garden by a Sinhala king and was expanded by the British. It is 147 acres in extent and provides an amazing variety of trees, plants and flowers.
Following that, proceed to the Ayurveda Massage Centre. (As per the timing availability, it will be changed to another Ayurveda place) - (OPTION)

Day 06 - Kandy-Nuwara Eliya-Ella
Am-after breakfast Proceed to Nuwara Eliya. Travel deeper into the tea-growing hills and have the option to wind through the mountains with magnificent views.
En-route to Nuwara Eliya you will visit waterfall and a factory of the popular Sri Lankan Tea. (Lunch Open)
Arrive in Nuwara Eliya to be greeted by the fresh wintry atmosphere; Nuwara Eliya is located at the heart of the hill country 6182 feet above from the sea level. It is still very much like an old English town with styled Bungalows and buildings. The cool calm climate, gorges rolling tea plantation which makes the best “Ceylon tea” and the breathtaking beautiful waterfalls makes Nuwara Eliya one of the most beautiful towns in the world.
Travel by train to Nanu Oya to Ella and Sightseeing. (Option)

Day 07 - Ella - Tissamaharama
AM: After breakfast, Visit Nine Arches Bridge.
Nine Arch Bridge (the Bridge in the Sky) is a bridge in Sri Lanka. It is one of the best examples of colonial-era railway construction in the country. The construction of the bridge is generally attributed to a local Ceylonese builder, P. K. Appuhami, in consultation with British engineers. It is located in Demodara, between Ella and Demodara railway stations. The surrounding area has seen a steady increase in tourism due to the bridge's architectural ingenuity and the profuse greenery in the nearby hillsides. (Lunch Open)
PM - Proceeding to Tissamaharama.
Tissamaharama is beautiful southern zone. Beautiful rice fields and lakes with amazing flora and fauna. Indeed a great southern country side. And it’s the edge of Yala national park which houses the illusive Asian leopard in high density. Herds of wild elephants, spotted deer, water buffaloes and other wild life.
Visiting the park with safari jeeps will be the event of the day. With special guide from the wild life department will guide us through the park.

Day 08 - Tissamaharama-Galle-Mirissa/Kalutara
Am- after breakfast on the way to Kalutara visit Gall Dutch Fort which was built first in 1588 by the Portuguese, then extensively fortified by the Dutch during the 17th century.

Day 09 - Mirissa/Kalutara –Colombo-Airport
Am - after breakfast proceed to Colombo and do a city tour. Transfer to the airport.
